Irv’s Pub on East Chocolate Ave. is “Hershey’s First and Only Gastropub.”

When this Saturday, October 19, comes around, it will still be able to make that claim when it officially becomes Rotunda Brew Pub.

The pub has been serving lots of delicious Rotunda brews already, being owned and operated by the Rotunda Brothers (Mike, Lou & Dave) who also own the Batdorf Restaurant and original Rotunda Brewing Company location at 245 W. Main Street in Annville.

A “Gastropub” is a bar that serves a full menu a bit nicer than your typical watering hole, something Irv’s has been doing since the Rotundas took over and will continue to do after the rebranding.

The biggest change, besides the name, will be an even greater emphasis on Rotunda Brewing Company brews that have developed a loyal fanbase locally.

A Facebook event touting the official rebranding offered more information.

We’re very excited to announce we’re in the process of rebranding Irv’s Pub to Rotunda Brew Pub! For all our loyal Irv’s Pub customers, do not worry, we will still have the same great food and service, but with a little more emphasis on our brewery!

The public is invited to stop in during the rebranding celebration on Saturday from 11am to 11pm. Rotunda Brew Pub is located at 814 E. Chocolate Avenue (Rt. 422) in Hershey.
