Bethel Township
Vehicle Accident – On June 29, 2020 at 9:20 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2018 Chevrolet Express, was exiting the FreeBird parking lot and traveling south on Center St. Unit 2, a 2014 Nissan Altima, was traveling north on Center St. Unit 1 exited the parking lot, maneuvering around a tow vehicle. Unit 1’s front left corner struck Unit 2’s frontal portion. Unit 1 sustained minor damage. Unit 2 sustained minor frontal impact damage. After initial impact, both Units moved off the roadway and drove into the FreeBird parking lot. Operator 1, a 59 year old Elizabethtown man, was not injured. Operator 2, a 58 year old Lebanon woman, sustained possible minor injuries and was transported by Life Lion EMS.
Cornwall Borough
Vehicle Accident – On June 27, 2020 at 2:56 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 322, just east of SR 72. Operator 1, a 24 year old Lititz man, was operating Unit 1, a motorcycle, east on SR 322 when he attempted to pass another vehicle and struck a westbound car, Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 66 year old Lebanon man. Operator 2 was not injured. Operator 1, who was ejected from the motorcycle, was transported to Hershey Medical Center by First Aid & Safety Patrol EMS. Both Units were towed.
East Hanover Township
Vehicle Accident – On June 28, 2020 at 6:09 a.m., this single tractor trailer crash occurred on I 81 Northbound in the area of mile marker 86.0. This crash occurred when a bird flew into the cab of Unit 1 from the driver’s side window. Unit 1 subsequently left the roadway. Operator 1, a 31 year old Baltimore, MD man, lost control of Unit 1 and overturned in the median, spilling paint into the median. Unit 1 subsequently came to final rest in the median laying on its driver’s side. Operator 1 suffered apparent minor injuries and was subsequently transported to the Hershey Medical Center. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage to its front end. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by H & S Trucking Service.
Vehicle Accident – On June 29, 2020 at 10:21 p.m., this crash occurred on Jonestown Rd., just east of SR 934. This crash occurred as Operator 1 was traveling east on Jonestown Rd. in Unit 1, a 2011 Ford Focus, when a deer entered the roadway and struck the driver’s side door and fender of Unit 1. Unit 1 sustained mild damage to its driver’s side fender, door, and mirror at the 10 o’clock position and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash.
Heidelberg Township
Indecent Assault – PSP Jonestown is investigating a possible Indecent Assault involving two juveniles on June 29, 2020 at 4:20 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.
Jackson Township
Vehicle Accident – On June 27, 2020 at 12:36 a.m., this collision occurred as Unit 1, a 2015 John Deere 7290R, was traveling north on SR 501 when Operator 1, a 17 year old Womelsdorf male, fell asleep at the wheel. Unit 1 traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. After impact, Unit 1 continued to travel north, where it struck a shed. After impact, Unit 1 continued to travel north approximately 20 feet where it struck a fence and then a utility pole. After impact, Unit 1 came to final rest in the property owner field, facing in an east direction. Operator 1 was cited for Careless Driving.
Lebanon City
Public Drunkenness – A 25 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Public Drunkenness on June 16, 2020 at 11:26 p.m. on the 800 block of Scull St.
Drug Possession – A 32 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on June 24, 2020 at 9:50 a.m. on the 700 block of Monument St.
Fireworks Prohibited, Disorderly Conduct – A 29 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Fireworks Prohibited and Disorderly Conduct on June 26, 2020 at 11:52 p.m. on the 300 block of East Arnold St.
Harassment – A 26 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Harassment on June 24, 2020 at 2:15 p.m. on the 500 block of Weidman St.
Curfew – A 16 year old female, a 17 year old female, both of North Lebanon Twp., and a 14 year old female from Myerstown have all been cited for Curfew on June 29, 2020 at 2:49 a.m. on the 00 block of South 8th St.
Public Drunkenness – A 45 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Public Drunkenness on June 27, 2020 at 11:24 a.m. on the 1,200 block of Chestnut St.
Drug Possession, Possession With Intent To Deliver – Charges of Turning Movements Required, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance have been filed against Anthony Marerro, a 21 year old Lebanon resident, after a traffic stop on May 1, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. on the 00 block of South 8th St.
Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct – Jaime Escribano-Cruz, a 42 year old Lebanon resident, has bee charged with Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Drunkenness after an incident on June 26, 2020 at 11:36 p.m. at Peach St. and Lehman St. Escribano was found at Peach St. and Lehman St. acting oddly and appeared to be intoxicated. When officers attempted to take him into custody, he resisted efforts to be handcuffed. After being secured, he was transported to LCCB. Upon arrival at LCCB, he was being removed from the police vehicle when he intentionally kicked one officer in the groin and another on his shin, causing minor injury to the officer’s shin. He was arraigned before MDJ Maria Dissinger and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $15,000 bail.
Public Drunkenness – A 37 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Public Drunkenness on June 22, 2020 at 1:48 a.m. at Spruce St. and Guilford St.
Public Drunkenness, Drug Possession – Paul Ball, a 53 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Public Drunkenness, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana after an incident on June 29, 2020 at 8:36 p.m. on the 400 block of East Cumberland St. He was apprehended and transported to LCCB. Ball was arraigned beofre MDJ Carl Garver and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
Drug Possession – Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance have been filed against Matthew Preston, a 42 year old South Annville resident, after an incident on June 25, 2020 at 10:51 p.m. at South 12 St. and Cumberland St.
Arrest Prior To Requisition (Fugitive From Justice) – Kevin Cepero-Lopez, a 23 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Arrest Prior to Requisition (Fugitive From Justice) on June 25, 2020 at 12:08 p.m. on the 900 block of North Chapel St. Cepero had contact with police, at which time police learned Cepero was wanted by authorities in Florida, specifically the Lake County Sheriffs Office in Tavares, FL. Cepero was apprehended and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Maria Dissinger and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $100,000 bail. He is awaiting extradition to Florida.
Millcreek Township
Vehicle Accident – On June 20, 2020 at 1:03 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2002 Yamaha Motor R1, was traveling east on East Park St. Unit 1, for an unknown reason, veered off the roadway via the north shoulder, where it hit a mailbox located on the 00 block of East Park St., causing damage. After impact, Unit 1 came to its position of final rest in the front yard where impact occurred. Operator 1, a 34 year old Lebanon man, was wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time of the crash and reported no injuries. Operator 1 could not provide any documentation on scene. Upon conducting a NCIC/CLEAN check, it was determined that Operator 1 was operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and did not have a Class M endorsement. Operator 1 was charged with Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked. Unit 1 was self-towed from the scene.
North Cornwall Township
Vehicle Accident – On June 26, 2020 at 3:25 p.m., this crash occurred as Operator 1, a 54 year old NY resident, was turning right at the intersection of 16th St. and Chestnut St. The NY man was struck by Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 46 year old Lebanon resident, as he was making the turn. No injuries were reported. Both Units were driven away from the scene.
North Lebanon Township
Drug Possession – Bianca Frazier, a 29 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after an incident at her residence on June 15, 2020.
Disorderly Conduct – A 43 year old Lebanon man was charged with Disorderly Conduct after an incident that occurred at the Hampton Inn in Lebanon on June 21, 2020.
North Londonderry Township
Harassment – On June 29, 2020 at 4:15 p.m., a 28 year old Hershey resident was cited with Harassment as he allegedly continued to contact a 37 year old Palmyra resident, after being warned not to by the Palmyra resident and the police. Citation was filed with DJ Garver’s office.
