Bethel Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 16, 2020 at 8:49 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu Max, driven by Operator 1, an 84 year old Fredericksburg woman, was traveling north on Pine Grove St., approaching the intersection of Pine Grove St. and Main St. in Bethel Twp. Unit 1 proceeded through the stop sign, striking Unit 2, a 2002 Volkswagen Golf, driven by Operator 2, a 29 year old Fredericksburg woman, on Main St. Unit 1 sustained minor front end damage. Unit 2 sustained disabling front end damage and was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. Neither Operator 1 nor Operator 2 sustained any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Stop Signs and Yield Signs.

City of Lebanon

Disorderly Conduct – A 24 year old Lancaster man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on Oct. 10, 2020 at 3:42 a.m. on the 200 block of South 4th St.

Criminal Mischief – A 17 year old Lebanon female has been cited for Criminal Mischief on Sept. 11, 2020 at 1:26 p.m. on the 800 block of Locust St. The juvenile is accused of damaging the Victim’s screen door, causing a loss of $225.00.

Disorderly Conduct – A 24 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct (loud music from a vehicle) on Oct. 11, 2020 at 11:20 a.m. on the 200 block of South 12th St.

Harassment – A 46 year old Easton man has been cited for Harassment after an incident on Oct. 13, 2020 at 10:40 p.m. on the 500 block of North 10th St.

DUI, Careless Driving – Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Careless Driving have been filed against Patrick Wersinger, a 28 year old Lebanon resident, after a traffic stop on Aug. 30, 2020 at 1:45 a.m. on the 800 block of Chestnut St. Police allege his BAC was .188% at the time of the stop.

Theft, Receiving Stolen Property – Charges of Theft and Receiving Stolen Property have been filed against Beth Winters, a 35 year old Lebanon resident, after investigation into a theft of a delivered package on Sept. 10, 2020 at 4:17 p.m. on the 800 block of Chestnut St.

Fleeing Or Attempting To Elude An Officer – Charges of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude an Officer, Registration and Certificate of Title Required, Required Financial Responsibility, Duties at Stop Signs (two counts), Steady Red Signal, Obedience to Traffic Control Devices, Duties at Stop Signs, and Careless Driving have been filed against Jomar Lebron-Brito, an 18 year old North Cornwall resident, after failing to yield to a police officer attempting to conduct a traffic stop while Lebron drove a small motorcycle on the streets. Lebron eventually stopped the motorcycle and was identified by police. The motorcycle was impounded and charges were filed.

DUI, Driving While The Operator’s License Is Suspended Or Revoked – Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While the Operator’s License is Suspended or Revoked, and One-way Roadways have been filed against Steve Trout, a 64 year old Lebanon resident, after a traffic stop on Sept. 19, 2020 at 10:38 p.m. at 8th St. and Cumberland St. Police accuse Trout of having a BAC of .203% at the time of the stop.

Theft – A charge of Theft has been filed against Malcolm Smith, a 28 year old Lebanon resident, after being accused of taking a TV from the Victim and selling it to a local business on Oct. 7, 2020 at 4:10 p.m. on the 00 block of North 9th St.

Disorderly Conduct – A charge of Disorderly Conduct has been filed against a 65 year old Lebanon man after an incident on Oct. 10, 2020 at 8:15 a.m. on the 700 block of Locust St.

Escape – A charge of Escape has been filed against Terance Brent, a 35 year old North Lebanon resident, on Oct. 8, 2020 at 10:20 a.m. on the 100 block of North Gannon St. Brent is accused of fleeing from Lebanon County Probation Officers after attempting to be detained as an absconder from PA State Parole. He was apprehended by probation officers and transported to LCCB by police. He was incarcerated at LCCF on the detainer from parole.

Criminal Conspiracy, Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangerment – On Oct. 17, 2020 at approximately 7:00 p.m., police responded to a vehicle accident in the 100 block of South 8th St. During the accident investigation, a 28 year old Lebanon resident told police he was shot in the 300 block of North Gannon St. and the accident occurred as he was fleeing from the individual who shot at him.

Police responded to the 300 block of North Gannon St. and located discharged ammunition cartridges and other evidence of the shooting. The 28 year old Lebanon man told police he was at the Railroad Crossing on 8th St., waiting for a passing train to clear the tracks. While the Victim was waiting for the train to clear the crossing, a vehicle driven by Luis Rosa-Hernandez, a 21 year old Lebanon resident, pulled into a nearby parking lot. Ricardo Timm-Ubarri, a 19 year old Lebanon resident, exited the vehicle and began shooting at the Victim. The Victim fled the area and Rosa-Hernandez and Timm-Ubarri pursued him. The accident occurred as Rosa-Hernandez and Timm-Ubarri were pursuing the Victim. Rosa-Hernandez and Tim-Ubarri fled in their vehicle after the accident occurred.

Police located Tim-Ubarri at his residence in the 500 block of Cumberland St. Police located and seized a handgun, approximately 5.4 grams of cocaine, five bags of marijuana, more than $3,900 in U.S. Currency, and a digital scale in the possession of Timm-Ubarri at the time of his arrest. Rosa-Hernandez was taken into custody a short time later in the 1st block of North 7th St. No injuries were reported in the incident. The defendants are known to the Victim and he was not randomly targeted.

Timm-Ubarri is charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Timm-Ubarri was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Kim Wolfe and committed to the Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Rosa-Hernandez is charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault, and Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Recklessly Endangering Another Person. Rosa-Hernandez was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Kim Wolfe and committed to the Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000 bail.

Frailey Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 18, 2020 at 6:30 a.m., this reportable crash occurred on I 81 Northbound at approximately mile marker 107.2 in Frailey Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2019 Tesla Motors Model X, driven by Operator 1, a 48 year old Hershey man, was traveling northbound in the left on I 81 when Operator 1 noticed a bear traveling across the travel lanes from east to west and attempted to brake. The bear ran into Unit 1 at the 11 o’clock position, causing disabling damage. Unit 1 came to final rest on the left shoulder of I 81 at approximately mile marker 107.3. Unit 1 was towed from the scene and Operator 1 reported no injuries as a result of this crash.

Propulsion Of Missiles With Intent – In the commission of this crime, on Oct. 15, 2020 at approximately 11:52 p.m., an unknown Actor(s) proceeded to throw a large rock from the I 81 Exit 107 overpass, striking the front driver’s side windshield of a FedEx tractor trailer traveling on I 81 North. The unknown Actor(s) proceeded to flee from the scene in an unknown direction by an unknown means of travel. The FedEx tractor trailer sustained a smashed front windshield. The Victim sustained a minor cut to his right forearm as a result of the shattered glass. The Victim was a 33 year old Snow Shoe man. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194 and reference PA2020-1461235.

North Lebanon Township

Fleeing And Eluding, Reckless Endangerment – Luis Cruz-Rodriguez, a 25 year old with no permanent address, was charged with Fleeing or Attempting to Elude, Recklessly Endangering, and seven traffic violations after an incident that began in the 300 block of Weavertown Rd. in Lebanon.

Criminal Mischief, Disorderly Conduct – Laura Hernandez, a 26 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct after an incident that occurred on Sept. 11, 2020 in the 2,700 block of Hanford Dr.

North Londonderry Township

Retail Theft – North Londonderry Twp. police department filed charges against Nicole Stiffler, a 45 year old Lebanon resident, for her involvement in four incidents which took place at Wal-Mart, located at 100 North Londonderry Sq., on Aug. 26, 2020, Sept. 6, 2020, Sept. 23, 2020, and Oct. 12, 2020. Stiffler was charged with four counts of Retail Theft as an investigation revealed that she failed to pay for merchandise on each of the above listed dates. A total of 41 items valued at $387.59 was taken between the four dates.

Swatara Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 14, 2020 at 12:19 p.m., this collision occurred as Unit 1, a 2018 Peterbilt truck tractor, driven by Operator 1, a 62 year old Troy, NY man, and Unit 2, a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by Operator 2, a 30 year old Upper Marlboro, MD man, were traveling west on I 78 in the left lane when Unit 2 began slowing down for traffic ahead. Unit 1 struck Unit 2 in the rear. Both Units came to final rest, blocking the left lane of travel, facing in a west direction. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were not injured as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Bunkerhill Fire Department and Fire Police.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 12, 2020 at 3:41 a.m., this crash occurred on I 78 West at mile post 2.5 in Swatara Twp. I 78 in this area is a four-lane divided concrete highway with two westbound lanes and two eastbound lanes. The posted speed limit is 65 mph. The westbound and eastbound lanes are divided by a grass median and useable shoulders on both sides.

Unit 1, a 2006 Mercedes Benz, driven by Operator 1, a 48 year old Harrisburg man, was illegally stopped, facing west, in the right westbound lane. Unit 2, a 2012 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by Operator 2, a 33 year old Bethlehem man, was traveling westbound in the right lane. Unit 2 swerved to the right in an attempt to avoid striking Unit 1 but was unsuccessful. Unit 2’s left front corner struck Unit 1’s right rear corner and right side. After initial impact, Unit 1 traveled approximately 1 mile before stopping along the right westbound shoulder in the area of mile marker 1.5. Unit 2, after initial impact, traveled off the right westbound shoulder, traveled approximately 25 yards up a raised grass embankment and entered a wooded area at the top of the embankment. Unit 2 then struck a tree and came to final rest, facing west, in the wooded area at the top of the embankment. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were not injured as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for the following violations: Drivers Required to be Licensed, Prohibitions on Stopping, Standing, Parking, Careless Driving, Registration Required, and Required Financial Responsibility. All charges are pending before MDJ Wolfe 52-3-03.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 16, 2020 at 5:50 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2008 Lexus GS350, driven by Operator 1, an 18 year old Hamburg man, was traveling westbound on SR 22. Unit 1 was traveling in the left lane of travel. Operator 1 fell asleep. Unit 1 struck the concrete barrier on the left side of the roadway and traveled from the left lane to the right lane and exited the roadway on the north side of the highway. Unit 1 struck the embankment and rolled over multiple times, striking a farm fence on the north side of the roadway. Unit 1 sustained severe overall damage. Unit 1 was towed by Joe May’s Towing. Operator 1 was wearing his safety restraint and the vehicle’s airbag did employ. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Bunkerhill Fire Department.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 15, 2020 at 1:36 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2008 Ford F150XLT, driven by Operator 1, an 81 year old Jonestown man, was traveling east along Greble Rd. in Swatara Twp. Unit 2, a 2007 Workhorse Cust Chassis (UPS truck), driven by Operator 2, a 28 year old Reading man, was parked along the right shoulder with its hazard lights on, delivering a package. Unit 1 struck the rear of Unit 2, causing it to roll onto its driver’s side. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was transported to Hershey Medical Center via Penn State Life Lion. Operator 2 sustained suspected serious injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 was transported to Hershey Medical Center via First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 11, 2020 at 9:41 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2020 Volvo VNL860, driven by Operator 1, a 52 year old Tupelo, MS woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 33 year old Tupelo, MS man, was traveling northbound in the right lane of I 81 in the area of the mile marker 88 in Union Twp. Unit 1 jack-knifed while negotiating a left curve, and the front right corner of Unit 1’s trailer struck the guide rail along the right shoulder. After initial impact, Unit 1 spun 360 degrees and the front left corner of Unit 1’s power unit struck the guide rail along the left shoulder. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 were not injured as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed. Charges are pending before MDJ Ditzler.

Harassment – On Sept. 27, 2020 at 5:07 p.m., troopers responded to Cherry Ln. for a physical domestic. Investigation revealed that a mother and son became involved in a physical altercation, pushing and shoving one another. The Victim was a 32 year old Jonestown woman. The Arrestee was a 12 year old Jonestown male. NTC was filed.
