Bethel Township

Vehicle Accident – On March 29, 2021 at 8:17 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 343 (South Pine Grove St.), just south of its intersection with Elk Dr. in Bethel Twp. Unit 1, a blue 2000 Dodge Neon, driven by Operator 1, a 24 year old Bethel woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 3 year old Bethel male, was traveling north in the right lane of SR 343, while Unit 2, a gold 2005 Honda Accord, driven by Operator 2, a 58 year old Lebanon woman, accompanied by Passenger 2, a 54 year old Lebanon man, was stopped in the right lane, facing north with its left turn signal illuminated. Unit 1 failed to stop and rear-ended Unit 2. Initial impact occurred as the front bumper of Unit 1 struck the rear bumper of Unit 2. Unit 1 was disabled from the crash and was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.

City of Lebanon

Curbing Of Dogs, Removal Of Feces – A 28 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Curbing of Dogs and Removal of Feces on March 25, 2021 at 4:29 p.m. on the 600 block of Walton St.

Public Drunkenness – A 38 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on March 27, 2021 at 10:16 p.m. on the 300 block of North 9th St.

Burglary, Criminal Mischief, Theft From A Motor Vehicle, Theft By Unlawful Taking – Julian Lugo-Perez, an 18 year old with no permanent address, has been charged with Burglary for an incident on March 18, 2021 and March 22, 2021 on the 500 block of North 8th St. He was also charged with Burglary and Criminal Mischief for an incident on March 19, 2021 at 5:16 a.m. at 7th St. and Willow St. Lugo-Perez was charged with Theft From a Motor Vehicle on March 19, 2021 at 6:07 a.m. and Theft by Unlawful Taking after an incident on March 17, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. on the 00 block of North 7th St. Lugo-Perez was apprehended on March 19, 2021 and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned on the above charges by MDJ Maria Dissinger. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $28,000 total bail.

DUI, Careless Driving – Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Careless Driving have been filed against Jay Romero, a 39 year old North Lebanon Twp. resident, after a traffic stop on Feb. 14, 2021 at 1:05 a.m. at North 9th St. and Cumberland St. Police allege his BAC was .123% at the time of the stop.

Drug Possession, Possession With Intent To Distribute A Controlled Substance – Christian Oliveras-Alvarez, a 27 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Possession With Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Drivers Required to be Licensed, and Unlawful Activities after a traffic stop on March 27, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. on the 00 block of North 10th St. Oliveras-Alvarez was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Maria Dissinger. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $75,000 bail.

Drug Possession – A charge of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana has been filed against Dannon Nunemaker, a 37 year old Lebanon resident, after contact with police on March 21, 2021 at 11:24 p.m. on the 400 block of North 8th St.

PFA Order Violation – A Protection From Abuse Order Violation has been filed against Patrick Embry, a 49 year old Lebanon resident, on March 25, 2021 at 7:03 a.m. on the 300 block of Prune St. Embry is accused of making phone contact with the Victim of a PFA. The 33 year old Victim was not injured as a result of his verbal contact with her on March 25, 2021. Embry has not been located at the time of this release.

Driving While Operating Privilege Is Suspended Or Revoked, Unlawful Activities – Charges of Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked (DUI related) and Unlawful Activities have been filed against Ramon Martinez, a 39 year old Lebanon resident, after a traffic stop on March 20, 2021 at 12:54 a.m. on the 400 block of Spruce St.

Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkenness, Harassment – Daniel Santiago, a 38 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkenness, and Harassment after an incident on March 25, 2021 at 6:25 p.m. on the 500 block of Bollman St. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Maria Dissinger. He was released on $3,000 unsecured bail.

East Hanover Township

Assault Of Minor – On March 11, 2021 at 3:07 p.m., this incident occurred on Jonestown Rd. as the Suspect did strike the Victim on numerous occasions, causing the Victim to go to the hospital. The Suspect was a 0 year old Carlisle male.

Vehicle Accident, DUI – On March 22, 2021 at 1:18 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2007 Dodge Caliber, driven by Operator 1, was traveling south on I 81 near mile marker 84.4 in East Hanover Twp. Unit 1 subsequently left the roadway and struck the guide rail along the east shoulder. Unit 1 sustained contact damage to the driver’s side front bumper, headlight assembly, and the driver’s side mirror. Operator 1 reported no injuries as a result of this crash, however, was determined to be under the influence of controlled substances and placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. Due to the fact that Operator 1 was arrested for suspicion of DUI and could not drive Unit 1 from the scene, Unit 1 was subsequently towed by H & S Towing, since it was a road hazard. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Jackson Township

Vehicle Accident – On March 29, 2021 at 12:16 p.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection on East Lincoln Ave., located at 649 East Lincoln Ave. in Jackson Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 2, a 2015 Subaru Forester, driven by Operator 2, a 38 year old Womelsdorf woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 38 year old Womelsdorf man, was stopped at a red light and was hit in the rear end by Unit 1, a 2018 BMW 320I, driven by Operator 1, a 44 year old Lebanon woman. Unit 1 sustained minor damage to its front end bumper. Unit 2 sustained a minor dent to its rear bumper. Passenger 1 was transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital for a suspected minor lower back injury. No other injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were driven away from the scene. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.

Lebanon County

Multiple Vehicle Accidents – On March 31, 2021 at 1:30 p.m., PSP Jonestown was on scene of multiple crashes on I 81 Northbound and Southbound, between mile markers 87-90. Multiple commercial vehicles were involved. I 81 Southbound was shut down and traffic was being detoured for an extended period of time. PSP was working with PennDOT and tow companies to efficiently clear the roadway. No fatalities are currently involved. Anyone having information is asked to call PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

North Lebanon Township

Retail Theft – Ralph Warren, a 59 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Retail Theft after an incident that occurred at Wal-Mart on March 26, 2021, failing to pay for $894 worth of merchandise.

Drug Possession – Trevor Arnt, a 21 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and a Traffic Violation after an incident that occurred in the 1,000 block of East Maple St.

North Londonderry Township

Simple Assault – On March 30, 2021 at 7:25 a.m., Cynthia Martinez, a 44 year old Laredo, TX resident, was charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related), after she assaulted a 55 year old Round Rock, TX woman at the DHL facility, located at 500 North Lingle Ave. Martinez was taken to Central Booking for arraignment.

Harassment – On March 26, 2021 at 7:21 p.m., this incident occurred on the 1,200 block of Grubb Rd. in Palmyra. A 30 year old Fredericksburg woman was cited with Harassment after she had repeated contact with the Victim, after being advised not to via certified letter.

Vehicle Accident – On March 29, 2021 at 10:12 a.m., the North Londonderry Twp. police department investigated a motor vehicle crash on the 1,300 block of Park Dr. in Palmyra. This crash occurred as a 16 year old Palmyra male, operating a Ford Fusion, left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Minor injuries were reported as a result of this crash. The roadway was shut down until repairs could be made to the utility pole. The juvenile male was cited for Careless Driving.

Purchase, Consumption, Possession, Or Transportation Of Liquor Or Brewed Beverage – On March 27, 2021 at 2:58 a.m., this incident occurred in the area of R & K Subs, located at 1301 East Cherry St. A 19 year old Palmyra woman who is under 21 years of age, was found to be in possession of alcoholic beverages after she was found sleeping at R & K Subs. Officers were dispatched to the location when a delivery driver observed her sleeping on the property of the closed business. She was cited for the Purchase, Consumption, Possession, or Transportation of Liquor or Malt or Brewed Beverage.

Vehicle Accident – On April 1, 2021 at 9:31 a.m., this crash occurred on Forge Rd. and Elm St. The North Londonderry Twp. police department investigated a vehicle accident in which a vehicle operated by a 49 year old Annville woman, struck a vehicle operated by a 62 year old Palmyra woman, after the Annville woman failed to stop for a stop sign. The Palmyra woman suffered a minor injury. Both vehicles were towed away from the scene. Palmyra fire department and Life Lion EMS assisted at the scene. The Annville woman was cited for Stop Signs and Yield Signs.

Retail Theft – On Feb. 20, 2021 at 3:00 p.m., this incident occurred at Wal-Mart. A 17 year old Bainbridge female was charged with Retail Theft after she left Wal-Mart without paying for merchandise, valued at $185.97.

Union Township

Corruption Of Minors – On March 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., this incident occurred on the 3,100 block of SR 72. PSP Jonestown received an anonymous letter detailing allegations of an inappropriate relationship. The investigation continues.

Vehicle Accident – On March 28, 2021 at 7:04 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on I 81 Northbound at mile marker 90.7 in Union Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2003 Ford Mustang, driven by Operator 1, Lane Johnson, a 19 year old Annville man, was traveling north on the on-ramp for I 81 Northbound at mile marker 90.7. Unit 1 spun counterclockwise and struck the guide rail with the rear driver’s side bumper. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Joe May’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Theft From Building – On March 2, 2021 at 12:52 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the 00 block of Micro Dr. for a reported theft of electronics. The Victim was Ingram Micro in Jonestown. PSP is investigating.

Vehicle Accident – On March 31, 2021 at 1:13 p.m., this collision occurred as Unit 1, a 2016 Freightliner Truck Tractor, driven by Operator 1, a 46 year old Schaumburg, IL man, was traveling north on I 81, when it failed to negotiate a right curve on the Exit 90 off-ramp. Unit 1 slid off the ramp and became jackknifed. Unit 1 came to rest with its trailer blocking the off-ramp and the truck facing in a northwest direction. Fredericksburg fire department assisted on scene. Operator 1 did not report any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Vehicle Accident – On March 31, 2021 at 1:37 p.m., this crash occurred on I 81 South near mile marker 88.8 in Union Twp. Unit 1, a 2003 International Harvester 700 Series Dump Truck, driven by Operator 1, a 50 year old Pottsville man, was traveling in the left lane at the above listed location, when Operator 1 observed traffic to be slowing down. Operator 1 attempted to slow down and was unsuccessful, subsequently striking the rear of Unit 2, a 2020 Freightliner Flatbed, driven by Operator 2, a 60 year old Columbia man. Unit 1 overturned as a result of striking Unit 2. Non-hazardous material being transported by Unit 1 was spilled across both travel lanes of the roadway. Both Operator 1 and Operator 2 reported no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. Unit 2 was towed by a private personal tow. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by North Lebanon Twp. fire company and Jonestown fire company. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

West Cornwall Township

Criminal Trespass – A 19 year old Tamaqua woman, a 20 year old Pottsville woman, a 20 year old Rahway, NJ man, and a 19 year old Pottsville woman are charged with Trespassing for an incident on March 22, 2021 at 2:54 a.m. at Governor Dick Park, located at 3283 Pinch Rd. The Park is closed between sunset and sunrise.

Harassment – A 74 year old Quentin man has been charged with Harassment for an incident on Feb. 19, 2021 at 7:40 a.m. at the Quentin Post Office.

PFA Order Violation – Steven Riss, a 32 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with a PFA Order Violation for incidents occurring on March 21, 2021 and March 22, 2021 on the 00 block of West Main St. in Quentin.

DUI – Tonie Shertzer, a 45 year old Lititz resident, has been charged with Driving Under the Influence as the result of a traffic accident on Feb. 15, 2021 at 12:09 a.m. in the vicinity of the 400 block of South Butler Rd. Her BAC was greater than .300%.

Vehicle Accident – On Monday, March 22, 2021 at 4:17 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 72 North at SR 419 intersection. A 60 year old Lebanon man was stopped for traffic northbound on SR 72, when a 21 year old Lebanon woman, failed to stop striking Krall’s vehicle in the rear. Minimal damage occurred as a result of this crash. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

West Lebanon Township

Theft – Eliot Franqui, a 35 year old Reading resident, was charged with Theft of a Wallet on March 25, 2021 at Boscov’s in the Lebanon Valley Mall.
