Route 241 (Colebrook Road) will be closed from Creekside Drive to just north of Mill Road on Thursday, April 8, for road realignment. Mill Road will be closed at the intersection of Route 241. According to PennDOT, the section of Route 241 will be closed in order to realign an S-curve. The closure is expected to last until the middle of May.
A detour will be instituted for Route 241 using Colebrook Road, Route 72, Route 419 (Main Street), and Route 322, and Mill Road will be accessible via Rocherty Road. There will still be access to businesses and homes despite construction.
A roundabout will also be created at the intersection of Route 241 and Rocherty Road. Pennsy Supply, Inc., of Harrisburg is the prime contractor on the $3,410,676 project. The target date of work completion is set for Oct. 29, 2021.
