Local amateur drone operator Michel Dengler has shared his recently taken aerial photos of the Walmart warehouse currently under construction off Route 72 near Heilmandale, North Lebanon Township.

Following over four months of site and foundation preparation, walls for the 412,000-square-foot distribution facility are going up. A regulation American football field is 57,600 square feet, less than one seventh of the new facility’s footprint.

The warehouse is being constructed by Houston-based Transwestern Development Co. and is expected to be ready for Walmart occupancy by the end of 2021.
