Hinkelfest will return Sept. 17 to 19 at Fireman’s Park, 2625 S. Pine Grove St. (Route 343), Fredericksburg, with all of the annual event’s favorites – food, games, carnival rides, a craft and vendor show, petting zoo, pony rides and outdoor entertainment.

There will be rides and games on Friday from 5 p.m. to close, Saturday from 11 a.m. to close, and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. The craft and vendor show will be open Friday 5 p.m. to close, Saturday 9 a.m. to close, and Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Food is always a main attraction at Hinkelfest. The food court will be open Friday 5 p.m. to close, Saturday 11 a.m. to close, and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Additionally, there will be a chicken BBQ on Saturday and a chicken breast dinner on Sunday. Both of these events open at 11 a.m. and will remain open until food sells out, so get there early!

Hinkelfest proceeds will benefit the fire company, Community Association, Matthews Public Library, Lions Club, and American Legion Auxiliary.
