Through Christmas Eve, Brian’s Model Trains is selling commemorative paintings featuring the Cornwall Railroad, with proceeds benefitting the Friends of the Cornwall Iron Furnace.
Brian’s Model Trains owner Brian Saul said that $5 of each $35 print sale will go to the Friends group, the 501c3 that maintains the preservation, interpretation, curatorial, and educational programs at Cornwall Iron Furnace.
The 16×20 prints are signed by artist Peter Lerro, Jr., of Glenoden, PA, and depict a scene out of the 1950s – a Cornwall ore train heading to the concentrator at Lebanon while a “Pennsy” train goes overhead on the present day Lebanon Valley Rail Trail bridge, located behind the Cornwall Police station.
To place an order, call 717-866-6070 or visit Brian’s Model Trains online. Prints can be picked up at the store (109 W Main Ave, Myerstown) or shipped for a $5 additional charge.
