That fateful time has come in my workday: lunch. But now it’s time to get something and today I’m feeling a sandwich. But I’m not going to a pizza or sub shop. This time I’m off to a grocery store in South Annville. Located along Route 322 east of Campbelltown, Country View offers deli subs and wraps from their normal deli counter.

All sandwiches are to go, and the ordering process is simple. They have a slip that you fill out with the type of sandwich you want and the fixings to be included. Place your filled out slip on top of the case and the folks behind the counter will make your sandwich.

Today I ordered a seven-inch Italian ($3.49) with LTO, mayo, salt & pepper, and sweet peppers on a white roll. They utilize Walnut Creek deli meat and pack it full. The sandwich itself is put together very well and the small size is more than enough to fill you up for the day. Plus, it’s hard to find a sandwich that costs under $4.

Our take: Country View offers simple deli subs and wraps. No frills or thrills, just meat packed sandwiches and at a super low cost. The ordering process is simple. It’s easy to see why the deli counter is always busy and numerous people and work trucks stop by for a hearty lunch sandwich. You get your bang for your buck at this spot.
