Constituents of the 102nd Legislative District will no longer be able to find legislative services at the Lebanon Valley Mall.
State Rep. Russ Diamond (R-102) announced on Tuesday, Nov. 22, that his district office had closed on Friday, Nov. 18, pending a new location.
“The office closure and relocation are necessary due to the change in the borders of House district maps that was required by the 2020 Census,” Diamond said in a news release.
“As soon as a new address and opening date is secured, we will be notifying folks through Facebook, weekly emails and at RepDiamond.com.”
Diamond’s district includes Annville, Bethel, East Hanover, Heidelberg, Jackson, Millcreek, North Annville, North Londonderry, Swatara and Union townships and Cleona, Jonestown, Myerstown, Palmyra and Richland boroughs.
Up until the 2022 redistricting, the 102nd district included West Lebanon Township, where Diamond’s previous office was located in the Lebanon Valley Mall. Now West Lebanon Township is in the 101st district.
Diamond has not yet announced where his new office will be located.
According to the release, constituents in need of assistance with state-related matters can contact Diamond’s office in Harrisburg at 717-787-2686.
The release also notes that state Sen. Chris Gebhard’s office can provide assistance with state-related matters. Gebhard’s local office is in the Lebanon County Municipal Building at 400 S. 8th St. and can be reached by phone at 717-274-6735.
