East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic – At 8:50 a.m. Dec. 21, a 2017 Buick Encore driven by a 68-year-old Lebanon man was turning right from State Route 22 onto State Route 934 when it rear-ended a 2008 Ford F350, which was parked along the right shoulder of State Route 934 with its hazard lights on and occupied by a 34-year-old West Lawn man. Both vehicles came to a rest facing east on the right shoulder of State Route 934. The Buick sustained disabling damage and required a tow. The Ford sustained minor rear-end damage and was driven from the scene. The 68-year-old man sustained suspected minor injuries but was not transported. The 34-year-old man was not injured. Police cited the 68-year-old man with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Jackson Township

Theft of Motor Vehicle – Police are investigating the theft of a maroon 2005 Peterbilt truck tractor. The truck tractor was taken from Owl Creek Truck Repair LLC sometime between Jan. 13 and 14. The victim was 60-year-old Hopeland man. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

Simple Assault, Harassment – At approximately 7:10 p.m. Jan. 18, police responded to the 200 block of Millardsville Road for a verbal/physical domestic altercation. Police determined that the arrestee, a 51-year-old Richland man, punched the victim, a 54-year-old Richland woman, in the face. Police cited the arrestee with simple assault and harassment. Police are investigating.

North Annville Township

Found Dog – At approximately 7:15 p.m. Jan. 16, a couple found a full-grown brown male pitbull in the area of Thompson Avenue and Heilmandale Road and brought him to the station. The pitbull was friendly and wearing a red collar but had no identifying tags. The dog was taken to the Lebanon County Humane Society. The pitbull’s owner or anyone with any information regarding the pitbull’s owner is asked to contact the Lebanon County Humane Society directly at 717-628-1369.

North Londonderry Township

Theft – At 11:38 a.m. Jan. 14, a 34-year-old Palmyra man reported that a white male in his 60s or 70s with a white beard and driving a gray Ford F150 extended cab pick-up truck stole a metal barrel, valued at $150, from his yard on the 800 block of South Prince Street.

Disorderly Conduct – Police cited a 31-year-old Palmyra man with disorderly conduct after they came in contact with him at 10:35 p.m. Jan. 13 while parked in a closed business lot on the 1300 block of East Main Street. Webber was in possession of a vape device containing THC oil.

Vandalism – At 7:21 a.m. Jan. 15, a resident of Cottonwood Court reported that two tires of his vehicle were slashed and his vehicle was egged sometime between late Jan. 14 and early Jan. 15.

Theft – At 12:43 p.m. Jan. 16, a resident of Holly Drive reported that sometime during the past two weeks, someone stole the Johnson 9.9 outboard motor with an electric start on his fishing boat, which was parked in his backyard.

Palmyra Borough

Drug Possession, Traffic Violations – At 7:55 p.m. Jan. 8, police pulled over a vehicle on the 200 block of East Maple Street for multiple vehicle code violations. Police found the driver, Clifford Myers Jr., 31, was in possession of drug paraphernalia related to methamphetamine use. Appropriate charges were filed.

Bench Warrant, Driving without a License, Driving without Insurance – At 3:45 p.m. Jan. 15, police pulled over a vehicle for having a suspended registration. Police determined that the driver, Trenton Hendricks, 28, had a warrant out of Virginia for possession of a controlled substance (cocaine). Police arrested Hendricks for the warrant and transported him to LCCB to await extradition. Separate charges for driving without a license and driving without insurance were filed.

Disorderly Conduct, Harassment – At 2:39 a.m. Jan. 5, police responded to the 900 block of East Main Street for a male causing a disturbance. It was reported by several individuals that a 53-year-old man was in the parking lot of the property, requesting that an individual come outside, and threatening them by swinging a stick. Police spoke to witnesses, who confirmed his behavior. Police attempted to speak with the man, but he was uncooperative and refused to speak about the incident. Charges were filed through MDJ Garver’s office on Jan. 7.

Medical Marijuana Violation, Drug Possession, Required Financial Responsibility – At approximately 12:35 a.m. Dec. 10, police pulled over a vehicle on the 800 block of East Main Street. Police determined the vehicle was being operated with a suspended registration by Jamez Martinez, 26. Police found Martinez was in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. The vehicle did not have insurance on it, so the license plate was seized, and the vehicle was towed. Charges of medical marijuana violation, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and required financial responsibility were filed against Martinez through MDJ Garver’s office on Jan. 9.

Simple Assault, Harassment – At approximately 10:47 a.m. Dec. 27, police responded to the 100 block of South Forge Road for a report of an active domestic dispute. Police determined that the victim was assaulted by a 15-year-old male, resulting in a laceration above his left eye. The victim was treated by Life Lion EMS. A juvenile allegation was forwarded to the Lebanon County Juvenile Probation Department on Jan. 3, charging the male with simple assault and harassment.

South Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – At approximately 7:20 p.m. Jan. 7, police pulled over a vehicle in the 800 block of East Walnut Street. Police found the front-seat passenger, Jasmine Davis, 20, was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed on Jan. 13.

South Londonderry Township

Criminal Trespass – At 10:03 a.m. Jan. 16, police responded to the Traditions of Hershey facility, at 100 N. Larkspur Drive, for a reported trespasser. An 83-year-old Palmyra man was found in the business after he was given notice not to be in the business or on the property. Ludwig refused to leave after several warnings from staff. Ludwig was removed from the property, and a citation for criminal trespass was filed.

Underage Drinking – At 7:50 p.m. Jan. 13, police observed a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old male consuming alcohol in the parking lot of the Klick Lewis Arena, at 101 Landings Drive, during a high school hockey game. Both juveniles were removed from the property, and charges were filed.

Union Township

DUI Crash – At 10:37 p.m. Jan. 10, a 55-year-old Newmanstown woman operated a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The victim was a 26-year-old Jonestown man. The incident occurred on Maple Lane and Jonestown Road and involved a 2014 Ford Explorer and a 2003 Kenway Campers.

Drug Possession – At approximately 9:06 p.m. Jan. 16, police pulled over a 2001 Nissan Frontier on Allentown Boulevard and Hill Drive for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the operator, police observed an odor of marijuana emitting from the interior of the vehicle. The operator gave verbal consent to search his vehicle, and marijuana was found. Appropriate charges will be filed. Police are investigating.
