Editor’s Note: Last year, Michael and Nicole Borrell began reviewing Lebanon Valley’s restaurants and eating attractions as the Lebanon Valley Food Critics. Since then, the couple has aimed to offer unbiased reviews of the eating and drinking establishments the Lebanon Valley has to offer. LebTown is pleased to be partnering with LVFC to share these reviews with our readers. Bon appétit!
Welcome to the first season of our highly anticipated Lebanon Valley Cheesesteak Wars. Four entrants from the Valley will compete to be declared the winner of Best Cheesesteak in The Valley.
Our judgement will be based upon several factors including style of quality of steak, composition, flavor, roll, and overall impression.
We finish up with a certain fan favorite, which many believe to be the overall #1 seed in the Valley, Stuff’D Steaks. Located along Route 322 in the village of Campbelltown, this place offers cheesesteaks, burgers, and fries.

Our selection for judgement this evening was the Cheesesteak ($14) with Whiz, no onions.
This sandwich was loaded with steak and oozing with an abundance of Whiz. The ribeye was thicker than our other sandwiches. The steak itself was a bit salty, but not too bad. As loaded as this sandwich was, it maintained its integrity. This one does taste like a true Philly classic.
This concludes our stops for the first season. Who do you think will be the winner? We encourage everyone to visit all four entrants this season and let us know your thoughts!
We will deliberate and announce our Season 1 winner shortly.
