The third annual Domestic Violence Intervention Rubber Duck Derby returns to downtown Lebanon on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023 at noon. The event is the organization’s largest fundraiser.

Hundreds of bright yellow webfoots will take off from 7th Street and float down the Quittapahilla Creek to the finish line at 8th Street.

DVI supporters can adopt a lone duck for $5.00, or up to a 15 duck “Duckload” for $50.00, online at www.dviolc.org/duck-derby/, or in person at the Lebanon Farmers’ Market, which is open Thursday through Saturday.

Sponsors of the first three finishers will win cash prizes of $300, $200, and $100.

Over 600 ducks made the trip down the Quittie last year, raising over $3,300, and over $4,000 in sponsorships are already booked for this year’s event, according to DVI Executive Director LeAnne Burchik.
