The Lebanon Valley Mall will be host to the county’s inaugural Mac and Cheese Festival on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 2 to 6 p.m.
Organized by Froggy Valley 100.1 and WLBR 1270, with Lebanon Federal Credit Union as event sponsor, the event promises an afternoon of delicious comfort food, community spirit, and support for a noble cause.
The festival will be heartwarming in more ways than one. Proceeds from the event will go directly to the Homeless Veterans Awareness campaign, shining a light on the struggles faced by homeless veterans and former service members in distress.
Local culinary talents will showcase their unique takes on mac and cheese. Attendees will have the enviable task of sampling the various recipes, to be judged in four categories: “The Cheesiest,” “Most Original,” “Just Like Mom’s,” and the coveted “People’s Choice” award.
Tickets for the Mac and Cheese Festival are currently available for purchase online for $25 each.
