The Pet of the Week sometimes features a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the column spotlights an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Flossie!
Life is short, smile while you still have teeth … which, if it isn’t already Flossie’s personal motto, it should be!
Flossie, according to Pitties.Love.Peace rep Mika Stiefel, is a 7-year-old female, with 45 pounds of pure personality.
She’s affectionate, Mika says, but she also “has some mouthy tendencies so she will need a family understanding of this.” She’s also a “rough and tumble gal when playing,” and an “A+ snuggler when tired with both humans and canine companions.”
Flossie walks nicely on leash and is always up for a Sunday drive, Mika adds. She’s food-motivated and a snack expert, and she’s crate-trained and housebroken. It’s as yet unknown how she interacts with cats but she “could be formally tested for an approved applicant.”
PLP is looking for loving family with whom Flossie can spend the best years of her life. If you think Flossie could be a fit for your household, please click over to pittieslovepeace.com to submit your online application.
