The Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce has named the inaugural slate of Emerging and Rising Leaders in Lebanon County and will present the awards at an event on April 11.

The Emerging Leaders Award recognizes exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication in a variety of categories, according to a release from Brooke Mendoff, communications director for the Chamber.

The honorees are this year are: Julia Ansel of the Lebanon Valley Career & Technology Center, Colleen Bennett of WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Matt Engle of Byler Holdings, Craig Gettle of B.R. Kreider & Son, Ashley Hess of Jonestown Bank & Trust Co., Alex Kinzey of Steckbeck Engineering & Surveying, Allison Leitzel-Williams of Leitzel’s Jewelry, Eric MacFaline from the board of directors at Lebanon Family Health Services, Janelle Mendoff of the City of Lebanon, Taelor Norwood of Love’s Storehouse, Dr. Nisarg Patel of WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Ali Perrotto of Sexual Assault Resource Counseling Center, Leilani Rooney of Visit Lebanon Valley, Chad Stine of Members 1st Federal Credit Union, Heather Strupp of WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Celene Vidal of E&E Metal Fabrication, Hilary Yoh of Lebanon Valley College, and Gabrielle Zunner of Chrisland Engineering.

The Rising Leaders Award highlights students who were nominated by their schools. The honorees are; Keymyra Barreiro from Cedar Crest High School, Garrett Evans from Lebanon Valley College, Meg McCracken from Lebanon Valley College, Miyah Moore from Palmyra Area High School, and Gillian Wenhold from Lebanon Valley College.

Award winners will be honored at a luncheon on Thursday, April 11, at the Barn & Barrel at Mount Hope Estate and Winery. The luncheon is open to the public but requires registration.

The featured keynote is Austin Wagoner, CEO of Seltzer’s Smokehouse Meats. More information about the event, including registrations options, can be found online.
