Drug possession – On Sept. 11, police charged Justin Lisk, 29, with possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 00 block of South 9th Street.

Aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children – On Sept. 12, police charged Romairy Doer-Figueroa, 27, with two counts of felony aggravated assault and felony endangering the welfare of children after police responded to a domestic disturbance on the 100 block of South 10th Street. Doer-Figueroa allegedly threw a pot of boiling water, causing severe burns to two people involved in the disturbance.

Drug possession – On Sept. 15, police charged Dakota Whitman, 29, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 300 block of Chestnut Street.

Drug possession – On Sept. 17, police charged Michelle Spidel, 35, with possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 300 block of Federal Street.

Accident involving damage to attended and unattended property – On Sept. 18, police charged Jose Amaro Ortiz, 38, with accident involving damage to attended property, accident involving damage to unattended property, and driving while suspended after a crash in the area of 12th and Mifflin streets.

Driving while suspended, DUI-related – At 4:04 p.m. Sept. 3, police pulled over a vehicle on the 1200 block of East Main Street and identified the driver as Brian Devonshire, 53, who had a suspended driver’s license, DUI-related, with two prior offenses. On Sept. 8, charges were filed against Devonshire for misdemeanor driving while suspended, DUI-related, third offense.

DUI – On Sept. 11, police charged Emmanuel Acosta, 22, with DUI-alcohol after a traffic stop on the 700 block of Walnut Street.

DUI, careless driving – On Sept. 18, police charged Bobbie Jo Shirk, 57, with DUI and careless driving after a crash on the 300 block of North 10th Street.

Simple assault, disorderly conduct – On Sept. 20, police charged Angel Dejesus, 24, with simple assault and disorderly conduct after police responded to a domestic disturbance on the 400 block of North 9th Street.

Drug possession – On Sept. 19, police charged Brandelynne Olivo, 21, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on the 900 block of Church Street.

Criminal mischief – On Sept. 19, police charged Meralis Mercado-Cepeda, 37, with criminal mischief after an incident on the 400 block of North Hornet Street.

Driving while suspended – On Sept. 19, police charged Joshua Martinez, 28, with driving with suspended, DUI-related, and several vehicle violations after a traffic stop on the 300 block of North 12th Street.

Drug possession, public drunkenness – On Sept. 19, police charged Talon Bournias, 25, with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public drunkenness after an incident on the 1200 block of Cumberland Street.

Drug possession – On Sept. 18, police charged Richard Figueroa-Barrios, 29, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on the 1200 block of Buttonwood Street.

DUI – On Sept. 18, police charged Pedro Guzman-Diaz, 30, with DUI-alcohol and open container after a traffic stop on the 300 block of North 10th Street.

Found dog – Lebanon city police are in possession of the dog pictured below, which was located in the area of North 6th and Guilford streets. If you know where this guy belongs, please notify city police.

Vehicle accident involving a structure – A crash involving a vehicle and a structure occurred at Wine and Spirits, 102 N. 8th Ave., Lebanon, around 4:57 p.m. Sept. 15. The male driver was attempting to park when he had a medical-related issue that caused him to accelerate over the curb and into the building. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle. No injuries were reported. Alcohol use is not suspected to be a contributing factor to the accident, according to police.

City police department is hiring – As part of the Lebanon City Police Department’s search for full-time police officers, the Police Civil Service Commission is accepting applications now through Oct. 11. All applicants must be U.S. citizens who are 21 years of age upon the return of the application and possess high school diplomas or GEDs. Applications can be obtained online at PoliceApp.com. No mailed applications will be accepted. Lebanon city police will conduct a physical agility test on Oct. 19, starting at 9 a.m., at the Lebanon City Fire Department, 700 S. 8th St. In addition, all non-Act 120 applications will be given the physical agility entrance test for the HACC Police Academy immediately following. The written test will be conducted following the successful completion of the physical agility test. The City of Lebanon will waive the $35 fee for the written test, but PoliceApp will charge a non-refundable processing fee. Jackson Township

Vehicle accident – Around 11:49 p.m. Sept. 10, police responded to the 00 block of Ladybug Lane for a report of a two-vehicle crash. The driver of a 2016 Ford Focus was driving home from work and did not see a 1998 GMC Sierra parked along the road. The Ford collided with the GMC. The driver was not injured, and the Ford was driven from the scene.

Vehicle accident – Around 12:57 a.m. Sept. 13, police responded to Hilltop Road near Eisenhauer Road, where a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 22-year-old Newmanstown man exited the road on the left shoulder. The driver attempted to regain control of his vehicle but spun the rear end of his vehicle and struck an embankment. He was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. Police found the driver to be driving under the influence of alcohol and transported him to Good Samaritan Hospital for a blood draw. Myerstown EMS, Myerstown Fire Department, and Zimmey’s Towing assisted on the scene. Charges of DUI are pending investigation.

Vehicle accident – Around 9:52 a.m. Sept. 3, police responded to West Lincoln Avenue (SR 422) near the entrance to the Dollar General, 470 W. Lincoln Ave. A 2020 Subaru Forester driven by an 86-year-old Myerstown woman was traveling east on SR 422, and a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by a 73-year-old Myerstown woman accompanied by a 65-year-old Lebanon woman was traveling west. The Subaru entered the turn lane and, as it was making a left turn, was struck by the Hyundai. The driver of the Subaru was wearing a seatbelt, sustained a suspected minor injury, and was treated on the scene. The occupants of the Hyundai were wearing seatbelts, sustained injuries of unknown severity, and were transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to Good Samaritan Hospital. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by CJ Wagner’s Towing. Police charged the Subaru driver with vehicle turning left.

Vehicle accident – At 1:17 p.m. Sept. 13, a 2001 Ford Taurus X driven by a 79-year-old Lebanon woman was traveling west on SR 422 and approached a traffic light at the intersection with North Locust Street. A 2014 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 67-year-old Myerstown man was traveling south on North Locust Street and proceeded through the intersection with a green light. The Ford proceeded through the red light and struck the VW on the driver’s door in the intersection. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage. The woman was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. The man was wearing a seatbelt, sustained a possible injury, and was transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to Good Samaritan Hospital. Police charged the woman with traffic-control signals.

Identity theft – Around 10:32 a.m. Sept. 13, police responded to the 00 block of Apple Creek Lane and determined that an unknown person opened a cellphone account using a 53-year-old Myerstown woman’s personal information. The woman had not yet lost any money. If anyone has information regarding this incident, contact PSP Jonestown.

Jonestown Borough

Terroristic threats – Around 9 a.m. Sept. 18, police responded to IU13 Northern Education Center to assist the IU13 police officer with an erratic 15-year-old Lebanon boy. When additional police arrived on the scene, the boy fled. Police later apprehended the boy and transported him to PSP Jonestown for charges and processing. Juvenile probation then took the boy into custody, where placement was pending at the time of the release. The incident also affected a 44-year-old Upper Chichester man, two Jonestown males, and a Jonestown female.

Western Lebanon County Regional Police

Harassment – Around 3:47 p.m. Sept. 7, police responded to the 00 block of East Main Street and determined that a 22-year-old woman returned to a business after being warned not to by police. The woman also repeatedly attempted to communicate with the business owner. On Sept. 9, a non-traffic citation was filed with MDJ Ditzler’s office, charging the woman with summary harassment.

Burglary, criminal trespass – On Sept. 18, police filed charges of burglary, criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal trespass, criminal conspiracy to commit criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, criminal conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief, and criminal conspiracy to commit criminal mischief against Jeffrey Stump, 37, and Jessica Mitchell, 35, through MDJ Warner’s office. Charges followed an investigation into a burglary of Black Swan Antiquities, 61 W. Front St., Palmyra, on May 14. Mitchell has been charged as a co-conspirator.

DUI – Around 11:29 p.m. July 5, police pulled over a vehicle after observing an improperly displayed registration plate and erratic driving. Police determined that the driver, Michael Marciano, 38, was under the influence of a controlled substance and was incapable of safely driving. Ultimately, police found that Marciano was operating the vehicle under the influence of controlled substances and charged him with four counts of DUI, driving on right side of roadways, display of registration plate, and unlawful activities. Charges were filed through MDJ Ditzler’s office on Sept. 10.
