A 20-year-old Fredericksburg woman has been selected to serve as the 2025 PA Lamb & Wool Queen by the PA Sheep & Wool Growers Association.
Sierra Tice was crowned on Saturday, Oct. 19. Her official reign begins in January at the 2025 PA Farm Show in Harrisburg.
Queen contestants are evaluated based on a written essay, personal interview, and public speaking skills.
The daughter of Joe and Ashley Tice of Fredericksburg, Tice is pursuing a degree in elementary education at Harrisburg Area Community College. She was a 4-H and FFA member and an active member of the Zoar Lutheran Church. She plans to become a first-grade teacher and introduce agriculture into elementary schools.
Members of the PA Lamb & Wool Royal Court will attend several industry-related events throughout their 2025 reign. Anyone interested in having members of the court attend an event, contact Laurie Hubbard at 814-932-9000.
