LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
The Pet of the Week sometimes features a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the column spotlights an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Blaze!
Potential adopters should be ready to “light up the fire of love inside,” says Pitties.Love.Peace rep Mika Stiefel.
This 2-year-old male is food-motivated and eager to please, she says. He is crate-trained and housebroken, and he already knows his basic commands.
Blaze is a “playful, social, affectionate” and a “cuddle master,” Mika says. “Belly rubs are his favorite.”
She notes that Blaze is “friendly with people of all ages, but dog-savvy littles are best.” He also enjoys being with other dogs, but would also be content as the household’s solo pup. His taste for cats is unknown, Mika adds, but he could be formally tested if a cat-owning applicant is approved for adoption.
Blaze, she says, is “looking for an active family that will include him in all of lifeโs adventures.
