Welcome to the third season of our highly anticipated Lebanon Valley Pizza Wars. There will be a total of 4 entrants. Round 1 will be head to head. The final round will be between the 2 remaining places to be declared the winner of Best Pizza in The Valley.
We conclude our third season of Pizza Wars with the final round between Greektown Pizza Restaurant in Lebanon vs. Fabio & Joe’s in Palmyra. (Here are our earlier match-ups between Greektown Pizza vs. Tosco Pizza and Hearty Slice vs. Fabio & Joe’s.)
For the final round we ordered a plain Sicilian pie from each location.

The Sicilian from Greek Town comes with a tasty cheese blend and a thick, crispy crust. The sauce tasted sweeter this time around. From edge to edge, this is a good pie with a plenty of sauce.

The Sicilian from Fabio & Joe’s had a lovely appearance. The sauce was hearty and heavy with the herbs. After round one, I thought the sauce was the best of the entrants. The crust edge could have used some more crisp. The even balance of sauce and cheese made each bite enjoyable.
And now comes the hard part, declaring a winner.
