The Lebanon County Commission for Women announced the eight women who were inducted into the Women’s Hall of Fame on Dec. 11.

New inductees are Kerry Royer (arts), Bonnie Loy (military), Caitlin Kurtz and Dianne Marquette (community), Deborah Buckfelder (science and technology), Alissa Mailen Perrotto and Doris Iannicelli (trailblazers), and Kandall Mahida (leadership). The women will be honored at the commission’s first evening gala on March 19.

The 15th annual awards gala and induction ceremony will held at StoneRidge Poplar Run during Women’s History Month.

Women in various fields were selected for their contributions to the local community over their lifetimes.

Since 2010, the commission has recognized more than 150 women, including 11 new inductees who were honored at a luncheon held earlier this year.
