The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced on Wednesday that PennDOT county maintenance crews are scheduled to perform bridge sweeping next week on interstates 78 and 81 in Lebanon County.

Weather permitting, the work will be performed at various locations on I-78 and I-81 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, March 17, through Friday, March 21.

Motorists are advised that they may encounter single-lane traffic restrictions in the vicinity of the sweeping operations. They are asked to be alert, to slow down – for their safety as well as for the safety of the maintenance crews – when approaching and traveling through the work areas.
