City of Lebanon

DUI – On April 13, police charged Neil Miranda, 47, with DUI-controlled substance and turning movements and required signals after police responded to a crash on the 600 block of Quentin Road.

Drug possession – On April 11, police charged Joanna Pena-Vazquez, 45, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident in the area of 9th and C&L streets.

Simple assault – On April 10, police charged Jeremy Brossman, 44, with simple assault (domestic violence-related) after responding to a domestic disturbance on the 1100 block of Chestnut Street.

Drug possession – On April 11, police charged Thomas Schauer, 61, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on the 400 block of South 8th Street.

Simple assault, disorderly conduct – On April 12, police charged Brandon Martinez, 25, with simple assault (domestic violence-related) and disorderly conduct after police responded to a disturbance on the 1400 block of Maple Street.

Simple assault – On April 15, police charged Kelvin Jones, 41, with simple assault (domestic violence-related) after police responded to a disturbance on the 600 block of Walnut Street.

DUI – On April 16, police charged Joed Negron-Sanchez, 49, with DUI-controlled substance after an incident on the 400 block of Parr Street.

Drug possession – On April 15, police charged Harold Miranda-Salome, 24, with possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop on the 1400 block of Cumberland Street.

Attempted theft from a motor vehicle – On April 11, police responded to the 500 block of North 7th Street for a report of an attempted theft from a vehicle. Police are attempting to identify the person pictured below. Anyone with information is asked to contact PFC Peiffer or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH.

Level Up Lunch – Lebanon city police participated in the Level Up Lunch event at Lebanon Intermediate School, organized by The William D. Lebo Memorial Foundation, on Friday, April 11. The police department is thrilled to have had the opportunity to engage with the young people in the community in such a meaningful way!

The police department would like to extend its gratitude to The William D. Lebo Memorial Foundation for organizing this event once again and thank the staff and students who participated in the occasion.

Bigs in Blue – In coordination with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central PA and Lebanon School District, officers from the Lebanon City Police Department are participating in the Bigs in Blue Program. Ten officers have volunteered to mentor students throughout the school district. Pictured below are “Bigs in Blue Officer” Erin Secoges and “Little Sister” Lilly. Lilly is an 8th-grade student at Lebanon Junior High School. Lilly’s father was in the military, so she is considering a career in the armed services or law enforcement. This duo is looking forward to connecting through their shared interest in art, athletics, and love of dogs.

Lebanon County Regional

Retail theft – On April 8, police responded to Boscov’s Department Store in West Lebanon Township for a retail theft. Boscov’s reported that on April 1, a white male suspect, who was later identified as Evan Stewart, 21, concealed a Burberry Cologne valued at $155 in his pant’s pocket and left the store without paying for it. Police charged Stewart with misdemeanor retail theft.

Drug possession – At 10:13 p.m. March 17, police pulled over a vehicle in the area of Tunnel Hill and Old Ebenezer roads in North Lebanon Township for a traffic violation. An investigation revealed that one of the vehicle’s occupants, Jade Geib, 18, was in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Police charged Geib with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Retail theft, criminal conspiracy, drug possession – On March 20, police responded to Kohl’s in North Cornwall Township for a retail theft. An investigation revealed that Fernando Nieves-Sanchez, 50, conspired with another individual to steal several items totaling $1,377.18. Nieves-Sanchez was identified as the same individual who entered the store on March 14 and stole two pairs of sneakers totaling $232. At the time of his arrest, Nieves-Sanchez was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Police charged Nieves-Sanchez with felony and misdemeanor retail theft, criminal conspiracy, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Retail theft – On April 14, police responded to Target in North Cornwall Township for a retail theft. An investigation revealed that Cassandra Wilson, 52, failed to scan four items totaling $255.96 and began exiting the store. Police charged Wilson with misdemeanor retail theft.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle accident – Police charged a 19-year-old Palmyra man with expired inspection after being dispatched to a single-vehicle crash on the 1100 block of East Maple Street in Palmyra at 2:24 p.m. April 15 and discovering that the motorcycle had an inspection that expired in April 2022.

Retail theft – Police charged Wilfredo Davila, 40, of Camp Hill, with two counts of felony retail theft after being contacted by Lowe’s Asset Protection, which reported that several items, with a total value of $1,591, were stolen on Feb. 10 and 18.

South Lebanon Township

Warrants – The following people have outstanding warrants from South Lebanon Township police: Christian Cruz, Karelys Cruz-Velazquez, Phara Eveillard, Elizabeth Ewbank, Salomon Francoeur, Alicia Hedges, Jason Lutz, Christopher Martinez, Nijha Muhammad, Eulance Polk Jr., Nathan Reinbold, Matthew Rittle, Patricia Rudy, Miguel Tehuitzil, and Misael Vazquez. Numerous attempts have been made to get in contact with these individuals.

Do not approach or confront these individuals. If you know their whereabouts, call South Lebanon Township police or leave a tip on the department’s page on CRIMEWATCH. All tips will remain anonymous. Anyone who would like their name removed from the warrant list is encouraged to make arrangements or turn themselves in.

East Evergreen Road lane closure – Beginning Monday, April 21, East Evergreen Road will be reduced to one lane between Clover and State drives from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily for about a month. Please plan a little extra travel time, watch for workers in the area, and consider alternate routes when you can. The police department thanks you for your patience as improvements are made to keep our roads safe and smooth!

Western Lebanon County Regional

Borough noise ordinance – At 4:36 a.m. April 6, police responded to the 600 block of North Railroad Street in Palmyra for a noise complaint. Officers could hear loud music coming from the residence while standing on the sidewalk. Contact was made with the 28-year-old female homeowner, who was issued a citation for violating the borough noise ordinance.

Found property – On April 16, the Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department took possession of a black bag containing medical equipment that was found on the 200 block of East Maple Street in Palmyra. The owner may come to the police department, at 325 S. Railroad St., Palmyra, to claim their belongings.

Institutional vandalism – At 4:28 p.m. March 9, police responded to the 200 block of East Spruce Street in Palmyra for reports of kids writing and drawing on the Memorial Park Band Shell with markers. Police determined that Jose Paulino, 25, wrote and drew on the band shell, causing damage. On April 10, a criminal complaint was filed against Paulino, charging him with misdemeanor institutional vandalism.

Institutional vandalism – On April 10, a juvenile allegation was filed against a 14-year-old male for incidents that occurred on March 8 and 9 at Memorial Park in Palmyra, charging the juvenile with two counts of misdemeanor institutional vandalism.
