Celebrating six years since Myerstown’s 250th anniversary.
2018 lives on as one of Myerstown’s best years as a community. We came together as one on many occasions and set the tone that continues today, as momentum carries us forward with many popular community events, some of which have become annual events,
Take us out to the ball game.
One good example is the sixth annual Myerstown Night at the Reading Fightin’ Phils which happens on Friday, August 15. Many Myerstown area residents will again be there for a local-flavored pre-game ceremony leading up to a 7 p.m. first pitch to start the game against the Akron RubberDucks, followed by an enjoyable fireworks display after the game.

A local veteran, Tom Buck, VFW Commander, will be honored as we did in 2018. We celebrated Myerstown Flight 250, which drew national attention, as 98-year-old Bob Brocklehurst, a World War II combat pilot, flew stunts in a small plane to honor his beloved Myerstown.

For details, contact Seth Miller at 717-679-8206, or email seth@myerstownvp.org. If you own a business that serves Myerstown clients, ask Seth for sponsorship information. It demonstrates your community spirit as well as builds your business awareness,
Seth will also help you find resources for free general admission tickets to the Myerstown Night game in Reading. Tickets and sponsorships are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Act soon!
