LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

Our Pet of the Week sometimes is a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the weekly column will spotlight an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.

This week, meet adoptable Batman!

Batman

“Batman arrived to the shelter very timid of people. He was unsure of everything and everyone,” according to the Humane Society of Lebanon County. “We gave Batman all the time he needed to trust and WOW! He has blossomed into an affectionate cat that will initiate affection and pets!”

He now is “the chillest cat,” a shelter rep explained.

“He loves to lay around and hang out in the office area,” the rep said. “His favorite spot to curl up in is the desk chair. He also likes sitting by the window and watching the bird feeder. He’s a senior guy, just a little over 7 years old. He is a perfect cat for someone with a calmer home who wants a couch/tv buddy.”

If you are interested in adopting Batman, please fill out the adoption application online at lebanonhumane.org or call the Humane Society at 717-628-1369 for more information.
