Editor’s Note: Michael and Nicole Borrell review Lebanon Valley’s restaurants and eating attractions as the Lebanon Valley Food Critics. The couple aims to offer unbiased reviews of the eating and drinking establishments the Lebanon Valley has to offer. LebTown is pleased to partner with LVFC to share these reviews with our readers. Bon appétit!
The critic crew was getting ready for a weekend of camping, so we were out and about getting our supplies and making food for Saturday meals.
While out making one last stop at the grocery store on a humid day, your critic spotted a Hawaiian shaved ice trailer. And a cool treat was needed… according to the Little Critic.
Snowy – Hawaiian Shaved Ice is a trailer that can be found a different “pop ups” around the Valley or at a regular location along the 1300 block of East Main Street in Annville with a large menu of flavors plus some specialty creations and floats.

Today we ordered a Berry Strawberry specialty ($7) with strawberry ice, whipped cream, sliced strawberries and strawberry syrup. We also got a kiddie sugar free root beer ice ($3).

Both shaved ice dishes are piled high and doused with a tasty syrup that isn’t too sweet and is balanced throughout. The specialty creations come loaded and are more than enough to split between two people.
Our take: The menu has plenty of options of flavors. A good value cool treat. The specialty creations look good on the menu and taste better once you get them. If you see them while you’re out and about on a hot day, stop and treat yo’ self!
