Editor’s Note: In 2021, Michael and Nicole Borrell began reviewing Lebanon Valley’s restaurants and eating attractions as the Lebanon Valley Food Critics. Since then, the couple has aimed to offer unbiased reviews of the eating and drinking establishments the Lebanon Valley has to offer. LebTown is pleased to be partnering with LVFC to share these reviews with our readers. Bon appétit!
Welcome to the first season of the Valley Chicken Pot Pie Wars.
Three entrants from the Valley – The Filling Station, Country Fare, and The Quentin Haus – will compete to be declared the winner of Best Chicken Pot Pie in the Valley.

Our judgement was based upon several factors including ingredients, noodle quality, flavor, quality, presentation, and overall critic impression.
We continue this “War” down in the village of Quentin. The Quentin Haus Family Restaurant offers a Thursday dinner special of chicken pot pie for $10.50.

Our bowl came heavy on the broth. The vegetables in this dish are carrots and celery. The noodles are round and bite-size with a hefty amount of shredded chicken. Some of the noodles were very thick. Add that coating of pepper and you can see why this is a popular dish when it’s on special.

Did we just have the best Chicken Pot Pie in the Valley?
Next, we will travel to our last entrant: Country Fare. After that, we will make our decision.
