Lebanon city will begin weekly leaf collection on Monday, Nov. 3, at 7 a.m.
Leaf collection will end the week of Dec. 8, or after the first measurable snowfall, whichever comes first.
The city said that no leaf collection will take place on Nov. 11, 27, and 28.
Collection is for leaves only. The city said that piles with branches, grass, or other yard waste will not be picked up.
According to the announcement, there will be no specific day of the week for collection in different sections of the city.
“Crews will make every effort to pass through each section of the city on a weekly basis, weather and volumes of leaves permitting,” reads the announcement.
Residents are encouraged to place leaves street side the weekend prior to each collection week. After collection comes through an area, residents are asked to wait until the next weekend to deposit leaves on the street.
Leaves should be placed un-bagged one foot from the curb, and at least 10 feet from vehicles. Storm drains and intersections should be avoided.
Yard Waste Center access cards are also available for purchase through Public Works at City Hall (735 Cumberland St.). Cards are available to city residents for $40 for the first year and then $35 for each annual renewal. Call the department at 717-639-2800, option 4, to make purchase arrangements.
