LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
Our Pet of the Week sometimes is a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the weekly column will spotlight an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Maximilliano!
Maximilliano is a pittie mix, estimated to be 6 or 7 years old.
“He found his way to us as a stray with another pup, Shrimp!” a shelter rep at the Humane Society of Lebanon County told LebTown. “Max is a very sweet and friendly older guy that likes everyone he meets!”
Max enjoys going for walks to the play yard and he loves to play with balls and stuffy toys. (“He likes playing fetch with them and runs around with them like they’re his babies!” we’re told.)
“Max is a sweet man that loves human affection and sneaks in a kiss sometimes, too!” the shelter rep said. “He walks well on a leash, seems to be housebroken, and knows to ‘sit’ and ‘give paw!’ He would do well with dog savvy kiddos. He is all around a great boy!”
If you are interested in adopting Maximilliano, please fill out the adoption application online at lebanonhumane.org or call the Humane Society at 717-628-1369 for more information.
