This is a small business/entrepreneurial support team. Every month, we have a team of small business experts gather to answer your questions and provide valuable resources.
Your support team includes: SCORE – Lancaster Lebanon Chapter – free business mentoring; U.S. Small Business Administration – loans and free educational support; Kutztown Small Business Development Center – education, support, and more; Finanta – business lending and micro-loans for start-ups and established businesses; ASSETS – training and no-interest and low-interest small loans; and Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce – business support organization.
While registration is not required, it is helpful. This team of experts will also be here from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the following days: Dec. 19. Come on in for some free advice and connect for long-term relationships.

This will be a fun activity — right in time to impress Santa!
This is a two-hour class and will cover the basics of sugar cookies and general concepts around dough and icing, piping practice with royal icing, and strategizing the best way to decorate sugar cookies. Everything you need is provided in class along with an in-person instructor — just bring a smile and maybe an apron.

Dining with Diabetes at Penn State Extension of Lebanon County

Dining with Diabetes is a program for adults with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes and their families. These classes will help you understand some of the most important things you need to know about managing your diabetes.
Trained Penn State Extension educators will lead discussions addressing:
– Important numbers you need to know and physical activity recommendations
– Meal planning and carbohydrate counting
– Healthy cooking with less fat and sodium
– Medications, monitoring and goal setting
– How to eat wisely while dining out
Four consecutive classes are held with a three-month follow-up. Each class offers discussions regarding vital information to help you manage your diabetes, food demonstrations, and physical activity suggestions. In addition to program booklets, participants will receive the Dining with Diabetes cookbook and course handouts.
If you have been told that you have type 2 diabetes or prediabetes, you will want to attend this class!
