North Londonderry Township supervisors reset the board and other departmental leadership positions at their Jan. 5 reorganization and regular monthly meeting.
The following positions were filled by the supervisors for 2026:
- Chairman – Bill Buckfelder
- Vice Chairman – Jim Hartman
- Board Member – Mike Salvo
The newly set board also named Thomas R. Hentz as chief of police for the North Londonderry Township Police Department. That move follows the previously announced retirement in October of Chief Kevin Snyder, who worked for the township for 24 years.
Supervisors also voted to promote Skylar H. Snyder to lieutenant and Timothy A. Zechman to corporal within the police department.

Other moves by supervisors for positions within the township include:
- Secretary/Treasurer – Lisa M. Daubert
- Assistant Secretary/Treasurer – Judy R. Miller
- Sewage Enforcement Officer/OLS Program Coordinator – Kristopher D. Troup
Supervisors selected Jonestown Bank & Trust and Cambridge Investment Research Inc. as bank depositories for the township.
Other board business
In other business, supervisors voted unanimously to:
- Pay monthly invoices.
- Adopt the 2026 fee schedule for administrative, township equipment, and township engineer. The firm GHD Engineering serves as township engineer.
- Set the treasurer’s bond amount at $2 million.
- Waive employee contributions to the police pension fund.
- Authorize the Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority stipend for township representative Heidi Neiswender.
- Ratify the schedule of various board meetings for 2026.
- Approve the minutes of their Dec. 15 meeting.
Next meeting
North Londonderry Township supervisors meet the third Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at the township municipal building, 655 East Ridge Road, Palmyra. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 17 due to the President’s Day holiday.
