West Cornwall Township supervisors held their reorganizational meeting on Monday, Jan. 5, and appointed David Lloyd as board chairman.
Dennis Tulli was appointed vice chairman and will serve as a member of the West Cornwall Township Municipal Authority and the township’s Property Maintenance Board of Appeals.
Supervisors appointed Jeff Steckbeck of Municipal Authority Support Services LLC as township engineer and property maintenance code inspector. Eric Gibson with Gibson Law LLC was reappointed township solicitor.
Russ Gibble was appointed as the township’s voting delegate for the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors convention in April.
Supervisors reappointed Lisa Geist as township secretary-treasurer, Open Records/Right-to-Know officer and chief pension administrator.
Keith Kilgore was reappointed as solicitor to the zoning hearing board. Gary Brummel continues as a member of that board.
The two- and four-year elected auditor positions are currently unfilled. A vacancy also exists on the planning commission.
Other appointments and reappointments included:
- George Dundore as road foreman and John Demmy and Michael Dundore as assistant foremen.
- Stanilla, Siegel and Maser LLC as the township’s CPA auditing firm.
- Weinhold, Nickel & Company as training and technical assistants.
- Lloyd as township representative to the Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority and as voting delegate to the Lebanon County Earned Income Tax Bureau.
- Joe Foltz to the township municipal authority.
- Tom Sherk to the vacancy board.
- Northwest Savings Bank as the township’s depository.
Supervisors also recognized Cornwall Borough Police Department as the township police department and Quentin and Mount Gretna volunteer fire departments as the township fire companies.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the supervisors is 6:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 12, at 73 S. Zinns Mill Road. Supervisors’ monthly meetings are open to the public and do not require registration.
