All parents and caregivers in Lebanon County are invited to attend “Keeping Your Kids Safe – Together,” a free, engaging event designed to support families and provide helpful tools for today’s parenting challenges. The event will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lebanon High School, with dinner served from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m.

Hosted by the Community Health Council of Lebanon County in partnership with Lebanon School District, Lebanon Family Health Services, PCAR, Empower the Mind, and Compass Mark, this welcoming evening will give parents a chance to learn, ask questions, and connect with local experts in a supportive setting.

Topics will include online safety, trafficking awareness and prevention, current substance use trends, practical parenting tips, and local resources available to support families.

“As a school community, we know that parenting today can feel overwhelming at times,” said Dr. Nicole Malinoski, Superintendent of Lebanon School District. “This event gives families a chance to come together, ask questions, and walk away with tools they can use to help keep their children safe and supported.”

The event is free and open to all parents and caregivers. To make it easier for families to attend, free dinner and on-site childcare will be provided, and Spanish interpretation will be available. Attendees will also have the chance to win raffle prizes.

“We want parents to feel comfortable coming as they are,” said Nikki Gray, Executive Director of the Community Health Council. “This isn’t about lectures—it’s about real conversations, helpful tools, and making sure families know what support is available right here in our community.”
