Our Pet of the Week is sometimes available for adoption through a local shelter. Other times the weekly column will spotlight a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home.

This week, meet Halligan!

Halligan is a rescue pup from Georgia, says owner Erica Gettle. He’s going on 5 years old and is a rottweiler and boxer mix. (“We call him a ‘Brotty,'” Erica says.)

“His favorite thing to do on walks is to make friends with all the nearby cows,” she explains.
