Bethel Township
Theft by deception – On June 9, a 34-year-old Fredericksburg man reported that a check he mailed from Fredericksburg to Philadelphia on May 8 was stolen, altered to pay the suspect $2,500, and mobile deposited into a Huntington Bank account.
Vehicle accident, duties at a stop sign – At 8:48 a.m. June 10, a 2010 Toyota Tacoma driven by an 18-year-old Grantville man was at a stop sign, facing west on Route 22, and a 2021 Volvo XC40 driven by a 27-year-old Lykens man was traveling south on Mount Zion Road. The Toyota proceeded through the intersection without clearance and struck the Volvo. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and sustained no injuries. Police charged the 18-year-old with duties at a stop sign.
City of Lebanon
Failure to stop at a red signal – Police charged Axel Montes-Rivera, 19, with failure to stop at a red signal, driving an unregistered vehicle, and fleeing or attempting to elude an officer after a traffic stop on a moped May 30 on the 1200 block of Lehman Street.
False identification to law enforcement – Police charged Ebony Benitez, 27, with false identification to law enforcement around 8:30 p.m. June 5 on the 800 block of Bowman Street. Benitez provided false identifying information to officers while they were attempting to take Benitez into custody on an active arrest warrant.
Receiving stolen property – On June 10, police took Luis Galarza, 40, into custody for an arrest warrant stemming from a string of thefts from vehicles from early April through June. Galarza allegedly entered a significant number of unsecured vehicles during the night and early morning hours. As many of the thefts are believed to have gone unreported, Lebanon City Police ask anyone who has surveillance footage or information related to thefts from vehicles in the city during that timeframe to contact Detective Underkoffler at 717-272-6611 or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH.
Jackson Township
Vehicle accident, duties at a stop sign – At 9:32 a.m. June 6, a 2013 Toyota RAV4 driven by an 88-year-old Myerstown man stopped at a stop sign and proceeded across King Street from South Ramona Road in the path of a 2015 GMC Acadia driven by a 37-year-old Lebanon woman, accompanied by a 7-year-old Lebanon boy, which struck the Toyota on its passenger’s side. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. All occupants were wearing seatbelts, and airbags deployed in both vehicles. The boy sustained a minor injury to his shoulder from the seat belt. Police charged the man with duties at a stop sign. Myerstown Fire Company, Myerstown Fire Police, Myerstown EMS, and Blatt & Tillett Towing assisted on the scene.
Lebanon County Regional
Receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking or disposition – On April 20, police received a theft complaint from the general manager of Power Pro Equipment in North Cornwall Township, who said there were numerous stolen lawn mower parts from the business listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace. An investigation revealed that Ian Bachleda, 30, took numerous items from the business while employed there and attempted to sell the items online. Police charged Bachleda with felony receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking or disposition-movable property.
Theft of lost or mislaid property – At 3:05 p.m. May 12, police began a theft investigation at Walmart in North Lebanon Township, where Ada Escobales, 74, took another person’s sling bag, which was left in a shopping cart by mistake. Police charged Escobales with misdemeanor theft of lost or mislaid property.
Aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest – At 12:45 p.m. June 4, police pulled over a vehicle in the area of South 17th and Federal streets in North Cornwall Township. During the traffic stop, Lynnette Delacruz, 33, approached and struck a police officer in the head, then attempted to bite a second officer while she resisted arrest. Police placed Delacruz under arrest and transported her to LCCB, charging her with felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault, misdemeanor resisting arrest, summary maximum speed limits, and summary scattering rubbish.
Public drunkenness – Around 2:49 a.m. June 6, police responded to Dunkin’ in Lebanon for a disturbance. Police said a 21-year-old man was involved in an argument with a family member, then became disorderly while police were on the scene and was visibly intoxicated. Police charged him with summary public drunkenness.
Harassment – Around 11:21 p.m. June 6, police responded to Rutter’s in West Lebanon Township for a disturbance. Police said a security guard was assaulted by a 52-year-old man during an argument. Police charged the man with summary harassment.
Retail theft – Around 2:58 p.m. June 8, police responded to Walmart in North Lebanon Township for a retail theft. Police said Walmart employees stopped Rachel Rebert, 25, after she selected 96 items worth $936.14 and exited the store without paying. Police charged Rebert with misdemeanor retail theft and transported her to LCCB.
Public safety reminder – The Lebanon County Regional Police Department reminds residents to lock their vehicles at all times, including when parked at home, in driveways, and during brief stops. The majority of vehicle thefts and vehicle break-ins involve unlocked vehicles — a crime that is largely preventable. The police department has received several reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles and stolen vehicles left unlocked with the keys inside in both North Lebanon and North Cornwall townships.
The police department urges the community to adopt the following habits:
- Always lock your vehicle, even for short periods of time.
- Never leave keys or a key fob inside an unattended vehicle.
- Remove valuables, bags, and electronics from plain view.
- Never leave a running vehicle unattended.
- Report suspicious activity to the police immediately.
Residents are encouraged to contact police with questions or to report suspicious activity. In the event of an emergency, dial 9-1-1. The police department is committed to working in partnership with the community to prevent crime and maintain public safety.

James Biever Police-Community Alliance donates new first aid kits for patrol vehicles – The Lebanon County Regional Police Department wants to extend a huge thanks to Michelle and the James Biever Police-Community Alliance for their gracious donation of new first aid kits that will go into each patrol vehicle in the police department’s fleet. This will be a great addition to the police department’s vehicles, enabling officers to provide help to those in immediate need.

South Lebanon Township
Drug possession – On Oct. 16, 2025, South Lebanon Township Police assisted the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Office following the arrest of Jeremiah Stump, 50, on an unrelated warrant. Police located about 1 gram of suspected methamphetamine on Stump’s person. The substance later tested positive and was confirmed by the Pennsylvania State Police Crime Lab to be methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance. Police charged Stump with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
Forgery, identity theft, theft by unlawful taking or disposition, access device fraud – On Jan. 15, police investigated a fraud complaint involving the unauthorized deposit of a pension check belonging to another individual. Police said Irish Gilbert, 64, allegedly deposited another person’s pension check into a personal bank account using mobile deposit without authorization. Investigators also determined that the endorsement signature on the check did not match the other individual’s authentic signature. Police charged Gilbert with felony forgery, misdemeanor identity theft, misdemeanor theft by unlawful taking or disposition, and misdemeanor access device fraud.
South Londonderry Township
Vehicle accident – At 5:57 a.m. June 9, police responded to the area of Elizabethtown Road and Jubilee Lane for a single-vehicle crash involving a roll-over and downed utility pole and wires. A 2009 Toyota Matrix driven by a 20-year-old Lebanon man was traveling south on Elizabethtown Road before losing control. The Toyota struck a row of mailboxes on the right side of the road as well as a utility pole, snapping it at its base, before rolling onto its roof in the middle of the road. The man was transported by ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Lawn Volunteer Fire Company and First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon assisted on the scene.
Union Township
Trespass – At 9:41 a.m. June 7, a 78-year-old Jonestown man reported that someone trespassed on his property on the 00 block of Nature Lane and moved some of his belongings. There are no leads or suspects at this time.
Western Lebanon County Regional
Retail theft – Police charged a 17-year-old Palmyra girl with retail theft after several incidents in March at Sheetz in Palmyra.
Confinement of dog on premises – Police charged a 29-year-old Palmyra woman with confinement of dog on premises after an incident on April 28 on the 900 block of East Maple Street in Palmyra.
Disorderly conduct, public drunkenness – Police charged a 64-year-old Lebanon man with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after an incident at around 7:39 p.m. May 6 on the 100 block of West Main Street in Annville.
Harassment – Police charged a 12-year-old Palmyra boy with harassment-physical contact after an incident at around 11:59 a.m. May 12 on the 500 block of West Main Street in Palmyra.
Public drunkenness – Police charged a 61-year-old Harrisburg woman with public drunkenness after an incident at around 8:14 p.m. May 16 at Sheetz in Palmyra.
Harassment – Police charged a 77-year-old Annville woman with harassment after an incident at around 7:34 p.m. May 7 on the 300 block of East Maple Street in Annville.
Public drunkenness – Police charged a 57-year-old Annville woman with public drunkenness after an incident at around 2:31 a.m. May 28 on the 300 block of West Queen Street in Annville.
Theft by unlawful taking or disposition – On May 21, police received a call regarding a theft and determined that Deborah Dunn, 75, stole another person’s package. Police charged Dunn with misdemeanor theft by unlawful taking or disposition.
Driving while suspended – Around 9:20 p.m. May 25, police pulled over a maroon Honda Accord at the intersection of South Forge Road and East Main Street in Palmyra and determined that the driver, Terry Kershaw, 52, was driving while suspended in relation to a prior DUI. A criminal complaint was filed with MDJ Warner’s office, charging Kershaw with misdemeanor driving while suspended, DUI-related, third or subsequent offense.
Retail theft – On June 3, police charged Amanda Kline, 38, with misdemeanor retail theft after an investigation determined Kline stole from Weis Markets in Palmyra on two occasions, resulting in a loss of $183.48. The charge was filed through MDJ Warner’s office.
Theft from motor vehicles – Police are investigating a series of thefts from motor vehicles in Palmyra Borough late in the evening on June 10 into the morning hours of June 11. Police are asking individuals in Palmyra to check their vehicles for missing items and check exterior cameras to see if their vehicles were entered. If they find items missing or video footage of individuals entering vehicles, police ask them to contact Western Lebanon County Regional Police at 717-838-8188.
Found dog – A tan and white dog was found on the 500 block of North Chestnut Street in Palmyra. The dog has a gray flea collar, but no other identification. If you or someone you know owns the dog, please contact police at 717-838-8188.
