The 40th annual Mt. Gretna Tour of Homes, a self-guided walking tour benefiting Gretna Music’s live performance programs, takes place Aug. 1 with advance tickets at $25.

Gretna Music’s June lineup offers an award-winning string quartet, a family-friendly program, a special Father’s Day celebration, and the premiere handbell choir in the US.

The Mt. Gretna Tour of Homes will showcase eight unique residences, including a 1930s-inspired retreat and an 1892 cottage, during a self-guided walking tour Aug. 2 to benefit Gretna Music’s 50th season.

Carl Ellenberger chronicles the 50-year journey of Gretna Music, from its humble beginnings to becoming a premier Mid-Atlantic concert presenter, in his new book “Mozart in the Woods.”

Gretna Music is set to host the world-renowned Tesla Quartet and pianist Joel Fan on September 1, followed by the Manhattan Chamber Players on September 7, both at the Mt. Gretna Playhouse, featuring a diverse repertoire from composers like Grażyna Bacewicz, Sophia Gubaidulina, and Aaron Copland.

Gretna Music presents Concordian Dawn on Sunday, August 25 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Mt. Gretna Playhouse.

Gretna Music presents Turtle Island Quartet on July 21 at 7:30 pm, along with Apollo’s Fire on July 22 at 7:30 pm. Both concerts will take place at the Mt. Gretna Playhouse.

Gretna Music hosts Alex and Olmsted’s MILO THE MAGNIFICENT® on June 15, a free, wordless comedy show featuring innovative puppetry and music, suitable for all ages.

Gretna Music presents jazz bass legend Buster Williams on Saturday, July 29 at 7:30 p.m. and female kora player Sona Jobarteh on Sunday, July 30 at 7:30 p.m.

Gretna Music announces an exciting weekend lineup with Jazz trumpeter Etienne Charles on Friday, the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus supporting local fire department on Saturday, and a debut performance from acclaimed pianist Natasha Paremski on Sunday.

The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, a world-traveling troupe known for its blend of vaudeville, circus, and sideshow spectacle, is set to entertain Lebanon County on Saturday, July 8, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Mt. Gretna Playhouse.

Gretna Music’s season opens Sunday, June 18, at 7:30 p.m. at the Mt. Gretna Playhouse when Grammy-winning guitarist Jason Vieaux and Grammy-nominated bandoneonist JP Jofre join violinist Francisco Fullana for an evening Argentine tangos, Spanish dances, and classical favorites.
