According to a new report from career guidance service Zippia, Lebanon Valley College ranked first in the percentage of recent grads placed into jobs in the decade after they left school.

The report is based on data from the Integrated Post-secondary Education Data System (IPEDS). The team at Zippia searched for the colleges with the highest employment levels at year 10 after students have graduated.

Tuition at LVC is currently $42,180, with room, board, and books bringing the total cost of education above $50,000.

This isn’t the first time LVC has been recognized for its high placement rate. In 2013, the Huffington Post recognized the school’s chemistry degree as having a particularly high placement rate.

The Breen Center for Graduate Success oversees career counseling at LVC. Their 3 full-time staffers offer online resources and in-person office hours to LVC students.

One other benefit to attending LVC: you are far less likely to get distracted by the party scene that at some other Pennsylvania colleges: College ranking site Niche.com gives LVC a ‘C’ for its party scene. Go to LVC and who knows, you might even end up in elected office like alumnus former Gov. Tom Corbett.
