Lebanon-based plumbing and HVAC product distributor APR Supply will move into a recently purchased 350,000 SF warehouse in North Lebanon Township.
APR Supply Co.’s origins date back to 1922 when the Lebanon Plumbing Supply Co. was formed. The company, called APR Supply Co. since a 1982 merger, came into the Tice family in 1934 and now is in its third generation of family management.
Headquartered currently at 749 Guilford Street, APR Supply Co. plans to occupy the space at 1560 Joel Street, which is more than double the size of its current facility, by the end of June 2021. The company intends to later lease 749 Guilford Street through David Bode of Rock Commercial Real Estate.
“After nearly 18 years at the Guilford Street location, weโve simply outgrown our warehouse,” said APR Supply Co. president Scott Weaver in a news release of the former San Giorgio pasta factory.
“Despite the pandemic, we have experienced double-digit growth in 2020, and expect that growth to continue.”
According to county real estate records, an LLC linked to APR Supply Co., Rockstar Real Estate, acquired the building in late 2020 for $11.5 million from Snow Goose, an LLC subsidiary of Hoover Construction, Inc., owned by the estate of the late Lebanon County farmer, entrepreneur, and developer Leon Hoover.
In the release, the company noted that the new distribution center will provide more space, better materials flow, and upgraded technologies for product loading.
According to the real estate listing, the steel superstructure is 400′ by 875′ overall, and includes 12 loading docks, 200 car spaces and 100 truck positions, and 8,500 SF of office space.
The warehouse was built in 2001. Online records indicate that the facility’s most recent use was by the online restaurant supplier Grosfillex.
