After a late stint at work for one critic and the other wanting to keep it simple we decided it was time for a sandwich takeout. But where to order from?
We settled on a shop on the northside of the city, Armando Lebanon Bella Pizzeria. Situated at the corner of 7th and Lehman, they offer dine-in, take out service, and local delivery. They do have a menu on their Facebook page, although I couldn’t find one before ordering because I was looking for just Bella Pizza.

For tonight’s meal we got a small cheesesteak hoagie ($7.70) and a small Italian with extra mayo ($6.50). They have a sign posted that menu prices reflect cash purchases. Credit charges have an additional transaction fee included.
The cheesesteak came on their made rolls. It was ordered with mayo, but it seemed to have none on it. That had to be added later at home. The steak itself was lightly seasoned and remained on par with other offerings in the area.
The Italian came with thicker slices of meat and was neatly assembled. The mayo seemed to sit in the middle of the sandwich and I had to add some as well. The fixings were fresh but could have used more onions.
Our take: Bella’s offers a standard pizza/sandwich shop menu. The food is made quickly and the sandwiches have thick slices of meat and are assembled well. The staff is nice and the prices are average. Parking may be an issue, but on a nice day, grab your order and enjoy it in the park down the block.
