LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

Our Pet of the Week sometimes is a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the weekly column will spotlight an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.

This week, meet adoptable Jake!

Jake is a pit bull mix that’s estimated to be about 5 years old, according to a spokesperson at the Humane Society of Lebanon County.

“He found his way to us as a stray and was never reclaimed,” the rep explained. “Jake is a friendly and goofy guy. He enjoys going out to the play yard and gets the zoomies! He chases after toys that are thrown for him, too!

“Jake enjoys human affection and back scratches. He loves getting snackies and sits on command. He would do well with older kiddos. Canine siblings would depend upon a meet and greet.”

If you are interested in adopting Sage, please fill out the adoption application online at lebanonhumane.org or call the Humane Society at 717-628-1369 for more information.
