Our Pet of the Week sometimes is a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the weekly column will spotlight an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Porter!
Porter is a pit bull mix that is estimated to be around 3 years old.
“He found his way to us as a stray and was never reclaimed,” a Humane Society of Lebanon County representative told LebTown.
“Porter is a friendly pup that likes everyone he meets,” the shelter rep said. “He has a spunky and brave personality! He likes to play tug and run around in the play yard. He is trying his best to understand that his leash isn’t a tug toy!
“Porter enjoys human attention and affection, and gives kisses, too! He knows the ‘sit’ and ‘paw’ commands. He would do well with dog savvy children. Canine siblings would depend upon a meet and greet.”
