Welcome to the conclusion of the first season of the Valley Chicken Pot Pie Wars.
Three entrants from the Valley – The Filling Station, Country Fare, and The Quentin Haus – competed to be declared the winner of Best Chicken Pot Pie in the Valley.
Our judgement was based upon several factors including ingredients, noodle quality, flavor, quality, presentation, and overall critic impression.
We got a chance to stop at three local restaurants who offer this PA Dutch comfort food. Let’s quickly review each.
At The Filling Station, we had large, broad noodles in a rich broth with lots of potatoes and heartiness.

At The Quentin Haus, we had a broth heavy bowl with plentiful amounts of chicken and potatoes and smaller noodles.

At Country Fare, our bowl was bright yellow with evenly cut noodles, a delicious broth, and very minimal potatoes.

The critic crew is proud to declare the winner of our first ever Chicken Pot Pie Wars as The Filling Station!
The pot pie is full and hearty from the first to the last bite with outstanding flavor as a traditional PA Dutch meal. Congratulations to our winner!
