Bon appétit!

As is standard with the critic crew, we always go out for breakfast on Saturday mornings. We have our three standard spots that you can find us most mornings, but occasionally we switch it up to try something new.

For our Saturday breakfast venture today, we traveled south, just across the county line to E&E Family Diner. This standalone diner has been around for a few months now and they almost won our Diner Wars earlier this year. The have table and booth seating as well as a few counter seats.a

What brought us here? Easy, they have a breakfast buffet. Now, typically we are not fans of buffets, but I will make an exception for breakfast. Plus, a few of our followers recommended this buffet to us.

The buffet ($14.99) is available on the weekends from 7 a.m. to noon. It includes the typical staples like eggs, home fries, bacon, sausage, fruit selections, and pastries. This buffet also has sausage gravy and biscuits, oatmeal, yogurt, and Belgian waffles.

We arrived around 9:30 a.m. and all the food was as fresh as if it just came from the kitchen. They also have a wide breakfast menu for those that don’t want the buffet. We saw some of those dishes come out to the other patrons and they looked good.

Our take: This is a new dinner in the Valley that is trying to make a name for itself with quality food during every meal. We have had both dinner and breakfast here and will include it in our rotation going forward. The buffet is clean and has good quality food and plenty of options. They also have some desserts in the case that are hard to pass up.

We give this place 🥓🥓🥓🥓.
