The South Lebanon Township Board of Supervisors approved high bids for various pieces of used equipment at its Tuesday meeting.

Last month, 12 items were put out for bid, consisting primarily of used vehicles and radio equipment.

“We got bids for everything, which was good,” said township manager Jamie Yiengst.

One item, a 2016 F-250 pickup truck, was jointly owned with North Lebanon Township, with proceeds from the sale to be split between the two municipalities.

In total, the township should receive $39,708, which will go into the township’s general fund.

Township supervisors also discussed their potential attendance at the Lebanon County Association of Municipal Officials Convention on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at the Lebanon County Expo Center. The event is an annual gathering of local government leaders across Lebanon County.

All supervisors plan to attend, if their schedules allow.

South Lebanon Township supervisors will next meet on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m. at 1800 S. 5th Ave., Lebanon. Meetings are open to the public.
