Isaac Martin–aka the Cocoa Kid–held his first Lebanon County fundraiser event this past weekend with a (you guessed it) hot cocoa sale in Cornwall. Now his family is asking for the community’s help to reach Isaac’s $1,800 fundraising goal.

Read the Cocoa Kid’s backstory here.

The fundraiser this past Saturday saw over 100 people stop by to drink cocoa and lemonade, enjoy snacks, and chat with the Martin family about their support of the non-profit Mennonite Central Committee. Hot cocoa supplies were exhausted around 1pm, followed by lemonade at 2pm, but the community continued offering donations through the event’s end at 3pm.

The Root Beer Barrel hot cocoa sale ended up raising more than $1,300. Combined with Facebook donations and Isaac’s birthday fundraiser, the Cocoa Kid is just shy of achieving his $2,000 goal by this weekend’s Pennsylvania Relief Sale.

The family is now making one final push to hit that goal using Isaac’s birthday fundraiser on Facebook. Get more information and donate here.
