The Pet of the Week sometimes features a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the column spotlights an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Curry!
Curry, a 9-month-old male, is “playful, attentive, snuggly” and “full of positive puppy energy,” says Pitties.Love.Peace rep Mika Stiefel.
He enjoys a good bone to chew, and he loves to play with other dogs, she says, “so his ideal household will have a confident but tolerant dog that he can grow with and learn from or a socialization plan in place.” He’s also feline-friendly!
Curry also can be timid with new people or in new situations, Mika adds, “which is understandable seeing the condition he arrived to us in.” She notes that Curry joined the rescue agency “severely malnourished at around 3 months old.”
He is food-motivated and eager to learn, she says, and he is crate-trained and “working hard at housebreaking.”
