LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

This week, meet Mickey, Bailey and Poppy!

Mickey is an 8-year-old fawn-colored boxer, his sister Bailey is a 10-year-old brindle boxer, and Poppy is a 2-year-old border collie mix. Samantha Whitman said the trio lives with her and her husband, Mark, brothers Colton and Dawson, and Nana Dee.

“They are always chasing or playing ball in the yard with their human brothers, or walking around Stoevers Dam,” Samantha said. “Poppy is definitely the toy hog, and is absolutely OBSESSED with any and all Lamb Chop toys. Mickey will play with anything, and Bailey just likes to watch. She isn’t a toy gal.”

Both Poppy and Bailey are rescues, she added, noting that “Bailey came from a rough situation in Philly, Poppy came from Mississippi.”

“This trio is a lot of fun, a bit mischievous, and always keep us on our toes,” Samantha said. “These three love to go with us to Lowe’s and Home Depot to get all the attention!”

Keep your eye peeled for this merry threesome in the hardware aisle … and, Samantha added: “If you’re able to foster or looking to adopt, please reach out to a local rescue, and ask how you can help!”
